Over the Holidays there is lots to do but real estate work slows down, so it is usually the time when I buy a new PC or upgrade the website or ... start a blog! Here it is. As with most people, I like to share my opinions, ideas, impressions. I hope this is the place where I can do that and people like you can share their opinions, ideas, impressions, even questions.
I plan to talk about life in general but sometimes more specifically about real estate, especially in my little corner of the world.
Chatham, New Jersey. Named the #9 place to live in the US by Money Magazine in 2006, it is truly a great place to live and work. I have been here for many years and know the town well, and the nearby communities of Summit, Madison, Morristown, Millburn/Short Hills and more. We are fortunate in that in a time of great trial for many in this country, our real estate values have held and our homes are selling, albeit a bit slower than in recent years.
We have charming towns with New England flair, convenient commuting to NYC and NJ business hubs, top schools and plenty of cultural opportunities, shopping and fine dining.
Well, enough about that for now. Visit my website if you'd like to find out more about these communities - there is a lot of information and many interesting links at www.BestNJhomes.com. Now, I better get going on how to work this blog ;-).
Happy Holidays to you and yours. May you enjoy good health and much happiness in 2008!
